ultra-compact !

In spite of its extremely small size, this FPGA module does not come with fine-pitch connectors. It is therefore ideally suited for experimental setups on breadboards. For use in standard units it can be either plugged or soldered directly.

The provided CESYS UDK (Universal Development Kit) includes USB drivers for Windows™ (7/Vista/XP) and Linux™, application examples of Labview, and Python, the source code of an example application, an example design in VHDL and a testing and analysis tool for function control (UDC-Lab).

The low cost miniature module with XILINX SPARTAN-3E FPGA, USB 2.0 interface, clock oscillator and 50 I/O pins on standard headers is usable with or without USB connection thanks on-board configuration flash.

The configuration flash can be programmed via USB (software included), via JTAG (with Xilinx Impact software and download cable) or from an external processor (via the I/O pins).

The USB interface can be used freely in your own applications. The maximum possible data rate is up to 40Mbytes/s.

Connectable
The FPGA I/O signals can be picked up on headers in the proven 0,1" pitch.
Communicative.
Maximum data rates of 480 Mbps thanks to high-speed USB 2.0 interface. The FPGA configuration can also be done via USB.
A perfect team
The Spartan-3 FPGA is connected to the Cypress USB FX-2 controller in slave FIFO mode.
Developer access
In conjunction with a "Xilinx download cable" (not included) the JTAG (IEEE 1149.1) interface shows its full potential.
Straightforward
A simple 5 volt power supply is sufficient.

Compact size
