The CESYS USB ISOLATOR isolates the electrical connection between a host PC and a USB device.

In audio applications, this approach is called "Ground Lift". In measurement and control technology it is called "galvanic isolation".

The isolation prevents cross currents and mutual influence of the devices. The most common cause of noise and inaccurate measurements is thus eliminated.

The CESYS USB Isolator behaves almost like a USB cable. So no need to install drivers and it will support all operating systems (Mac, Windows, Linux, embedded OS, and others).

Crystal-clear sound
Hum caused by grounding loops in the studio or on stage can be effectively prevented. An additional delay (latency) does not occur.

Accurate results
In the measurement more accurate results can be achieved without interfering transients. In addition, measurements are made possible in which the measured signal is not related to the PC-GND.

Safety and Protection
When controlling lighting systems (disco, stage), electrical equipment or machines via USB, galvanic isolation provides protection in case of failure.

No software and no special drivers required. The USB isolator behaves (almost) like a normal USB cable.
